We’re sure you’ve noticed some things have shaken up over at the Wilmette Tennis Club. With the recent retirement of our two top managers, there are some new faces around the facility and stepping in to run the show is new Racquet Sports Manager, Jason Stanislaw.
He comes to us from Forest View Racquet and Fitness Club in Arlington Heights where he had the positive experience of reviving a struggling club and bringing it to its fullest potential. “I was drawn here in part because it is a larger club,” Stanislaw explains, “I was excited by the challenge as well as the opportunity to continue doing business in the paddle industry.” Having known the previous staff for years, he was confident that the spirit and direction of the club would fit well with his own ideals.
“I want people to come here and have it be the best part of their day,” says Stanislaw. His hope is that the club will be a safe place for people to come to relieve stress, engage socially with peers and experience exceptional service from the staff. “My plans for this club are to help guide it on course with its current success while not being afraid to make changes as we see fit,” he says.
The Wilmette Tennis Club is currently operating at a very high level, with a strong base of players, teaching staff and a positive community following. On the horizon for improvements is entry level competitive junior tennis, as well as developing a more consistent teaching philosophy and stronger marketing presence.
Stanislaw grew up in Libertyville and has lived in Chicago for most of his life. “I love the fact that there is always something new to do, and the city has a rich history that can be seen throughout.” He is excited to be in Wilmette and looks forward to developing a plan to take the club forward into the years ahead.
